A federal appeals court granted Vonage a temporary stay of a lower  
court's
ruling earlier Friday that would have required the Internet-phone  
company
to stop marketing its service to new customers. Last month, a jury in  
the
lower court found Vonage had infringed on key patents owned by Verizon.
