Eric Wolf, one of the pioneers in the SAGE military aircraft tracking  
system
and manager at BBN for ARPANET development, died Wednesday.  He was 85.

While I didn't have the honor of knowing Mr. Wolf, his son Lloyd is a  
friend
of mine.  I would be happy to pass along any condolences to the family.
