ICANN's Nominating Committee has extending the deadline for  
applications: the new date is 18 May 2007.

We are seeking candidates for the following key positions within ICANN:

* 3 seats on the ICANN Board of Directors
* 2 members to Generic Names Supporting Organization Council (GNSO)
* 3 members of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC)
      (from Africa, Latin America and Caribbean and Asia/Australia/ 
Pacific regions)
* 1 Country Code Names Support Organization Council (ccNSO) member

ICANN also just released an interview with Vint Cerf where he talks  
about future of the organization as his chairmanship and time as a  
director draws to a close. And he asks for people with a "passion for
