There is abundant licensed and license-free spectrum in 50-90 GHz to  
construct a mesh
network to serve low power WLAN user clusters. Why on earth is no one  
considering this,
particularly in a streetlamp-mounted system which would assure point- 
to-point visibility
within the mesh? It makes far more sense than any kind of BPL.
