I still am haunted by the early 90s speech at a Unix conference in  
Dallas
where Arno Penzias gave a keynote on how the Internet would bring us  
back to
village morality where everyone knew everyone's business.  That day is
coming.  Is it a good thing or not?

PS.  Penzias won the Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering the Big Ban
evidence. And he was the head of Bell Labs at the time of his speech.
