about 2/3 or more say -- no thanks. The reasons seem to focus on:

First release bugs -- old Apple problem

The sole use of  AT&T. Poor customer relations and often bad coverage.

lack of keyboard

I would add my persona;l concerns:

ATT

Sealed battery and difficulty of easy relacement

lack of international capability (my Nokia E61i works almost everywhere.

lack of third party support.

I will , if I can, try it but till I can choose other than the  
current ATT -- unlock the phone, I will pass on buying one
