why are the pundoids all besotted with picking "winner-take-all"  
outcomes????

i don't suppose it's worth pointing out that both Volkswagen and  
Porsche manage to co-exist in the broader automotive market just  
fine, thank you very much.

the fact they share common ancestry is not particulary pertinent here  
but incrementally amusing none the less.
