I simply haven't found QoS worth the effort (but simple prioritization mechanisms as I described them can work in some circumstances). The fact the numbers don't exist (or not published) to refute my experiences is telling IMHO ...but then I don't have access to these numbers and can only go by experience. BTW, the Internet 2 reference seem to largely agree with me and they focused on QoS for years. -------------------------------------------
