Subject: [IP] A flaw in the Internet architecture?

Richard Bennett seems to be confusing computers with IP addresses for this supposed flaw. The number of TCP connections is bound by IP addresses and ports, not by the number of computers using those addresses and ports. If there's any fundamental inequality, it's those hoarding class A addresses... Plenty of room for wild conspiracy theories there: http://www.iana.org/assignments/ipv4-address-space Disclaimer: I do work for Google and I support a neutral end-to-end internet, and encourage Google to do so to. If you want to use some of Google's computers to store your documents, emails, blogs, photos, websites or web applications on, you can do so for free. -------------------------------------------
