I just finished reading Jane Mayer’s new book “The Dark Side: The Inside Story of How The War on Terror Turned into a War on American Ideals”.  I suggest this as must reading for every intelligent American.  Nothing new, but Mayer connects all the dots and names names in the current administrations assault on the constitutional oversight of the executive by the congress and judiciary.  Superbly researched and written, this book chilled my blood.
