Since we can't carry our own water through security, TSA does allow EMPTY bottles that we can fill with water fountain water (or we can buy these inside for $$). Every traveler should carry a one liter bottle with him/her. The 100 kg of extra weight will cost USAIRWAYS a non-zero amount, until they figure out this is a stupid idea. Do they allow credit cards? That costs $0.50 or more for a small transaction. Or, carry pennies ;) Rahul David Farber wrote: > ________________________________________ > From: Lauren Weinstein [lauren@vortex.com] > Sent: Friday, August 01, 2008 12:25 PM > To: David Farber > Subject: U.S. Airways now charging for water -- suggests not drinking restroom water > > http://blogs.wsj.com/middleseat/2008/08/01/starting-today-no-more-free-water-on-us-air/ > > > > > ------------------------------------------- > > -------------------------------------------
