Hope springs eternal… So what if under the SBC-Ameritech merger, SBC claimed it would enter 30 markets outside their own territory and Bell Atlantic-GTE told congress it would have 24 cities in 30 months.
Verizon already denied this was going to be a ‘trend’.
It ain’t gonna happen as both of these companies can’t even finish their own territories as stated. During the previous mergers they both claimed invasion, but it was closer to ‘let’s make our merger deals, then we’ll claim the markets changed and…
